Alongside sediment and carbon filtration, the third stage uses ion-exchange resin to target calcium and magnesium, helping reduce hardness and the potential for scale build-up. Results and cartridge life depend on your water quality and household use.
An annual filter change is recommended. High hardness, sediment or heavy use may require earlier replacement. The current product page lists the three-filter replacement pack at $294, with an additional $95 labour fee for an HFS service where available.
There is no proprietary cartridge connection. You can choose suitable, compatible 20-inch × 4.5-inch replacement cartridges, or ask HFS for the right filter pack.
The 304 stainless-steel frame, enclosed back and sides, and removable front cover make a tidy outdoor setup. Freestanding installation is possible with suitable legs. Confirm mounting accessories and the installation location with HFS or your plumber.
